A great way for our team to wrap up the year! The President's Club Award from Vacation Express was awarded to Travel Escapes, Inc. for the third time! As Brenda enjoys her retirement, the rest of us are going to continue planning great vacation experiences for our wonderful clients as part of my new agency, Latitudes Travel, LLC! Yes, there is a FB page!

I now have a brand-new travel agency, Latitudes Travel LLC! After almost 15 years as an agent, the owner of my present agency is in the process of retiring so I jumped out on my own. I have a new page and will be posting frequently and adding pictures from my travels. Please like my page to help me get things started! I promised some more pictures from my recent trip to Punta Cana so here they are! These are from the brand-new Secrets Cap Cana! This resort is going to be a game changer for Secrets and it sits on one of the best beaches imaginable. Most of my clients know I'm a big fan of Secrets Resorts and I was so excited to see this one! They were still doing a bit of last-minute construction, but it was beautiful!

This week has been Travel Agent Awareness Week! I am so honored to be part of my clients' lives, helping them celebrate special occasions and make priceless memories. There is a good article that was done by NBC News talking about the reasons why more and more people are using an agent, especially for the important, more expensive trips. Unlike the agents quoted in the article, I do not charge a fee for my services in planning a vacation. And big news---beginning January 1, I will be the owner of a new agency with a new name---Latitudes Travel, LLC. More on that to come!

Just got back from Punta Cana doing site inspections at about 16 resorts! There are several new resorts there, and I'm going to give you a small taste of some of the places I saw. I will have more later!
