Y’all. We have been praying for this fire to be able to be contained, but now it’s reaching homes.

Join us in prayer, please. Pray for the firefighters, for the residents and their homes, for the land and the animals, for containment of this fire, and for RAIN to come SOON!

This is what neighbors on Junaluska Road in Andrews, NC Are dealing with as the wildfire inches closer to their homes.

Last time we went and worked on the cabin, we took a break and hitched a ride down the Nantahala! Everyone at Carolina Ocoee was great! 100% recommend this! For ages 7 and up.

If your group is all over the age of 12, and you’re feeling more adventurous, they can also take you down the Ocoee River for some bigger rapids!

Are the kids vacationing with you? If so, Vogel State Park won’t disappoint! They have a large beach with a roped off swimming area, pavilion, peddle boats, playgrounds, visitors center, and a short hike that leads to a waterfall! Perfect place to spend the day and it’s only about 30 minutes from our cabin!

When you go to Brasstown Bald to see the views, but the Smoky Mountains are doing what they do best 🤦‍♀️😂 It was still lots of fun and the little museum they have at the top is pretty cool!

When hiking, the early bird gets the face full of spider webs. Bring a tall friend and let them lead.
