This property was beautiful, it was well supplied with everything we could have needed and the location was close to town but still private. The drive up was a bit of a hike, but once you got used to it, it was not bad at all. It was a perfect place for my family to come up for a long weekend to Murphy for a family wedding. I would definitely rent this beautiful cabin again.

The cabin is exactly the way it's presented. Everything you see is what you get. You will have everything you need plus more. Beautifully decorated and oh so peaceful. You will not be disappointed. Loved our stay at KCs Cabin.

Cozy log cabin nestled on a mountain. Very clean. Plenty of hot water for a family of three who like long showers. Whirlpool tub looked old. Linens should be white so they can take bleach. Grill was dirty. Overly decorative too the point that decorations had to be moved to place personal items.

Enjoyed the cabin immensely. It provided the perfect location to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Everything was as described. The only slight problem was that the TV went out the day before our departure. Despite spending time with the online technical help we couldn't get it working. Instructions for the TV are sparse and could be rewritten, as it uses a Amazon Firestick to access web based applications (Netflix, Youtube)

My husband and I loved KC"s Kabin, it was beautiful inside and out. Very clean decorated so lovely. The big porch was wonderful, rocking chairs, grills, nice plants. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths plenty of room for family. Will recommend to friends.

We find this area very relaxing and peaceful. We have stayed several times in this neighborhood but this is the first time in this cabin. We gave it a very good rating because it met all we needed for two people. The beds were comfortable that we used. The road is paved, steep in places, and narrow. However it is secure and easy to travel. Parking is not a problem even for 2, maybe 3 cars. It is located on a sloping, wooded, hillside not to far from the top. The slope around the cabin is walk able. We had no issue with neighbors but did meet a couple of very friendly people out for a walk along the road. We would very much recommend this cabin. A few things to consider. It is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. The upstairs bedroom (king bed) does not have a bathroom. That may dictate where you need to sleep and your bed size. The 2 bedrooms downstairs are both queen beds. One bedroom has the only shower (bathroom) in the cabin in it. The other bathroom has a whirlpool bath tub with a hand held wand that is separate from the bedrooms. Lastly there are no curtains or blinds in the living/dinning room and kitchen windows. These would be nice to have in the night time. There are curtains for the double doors to the deck from the living room. It is a very nice cabin, in a very pleasant area, that we would use again.

Great experience. Best stocked kitchen ever! Very cozy and great cabin décor. Bring an axe, lots of dead wood to scavenge if you don't have firewood with you.

Loved this cottage- the Kitchen had everything we would have in our own home, it was clean and spacious. There were loads of games for my kids, the views were spectacular. Highly recommend this cottage and we will keep it as one our favorite places - looking forward to returning.

My husband and I absolutely loved it! We enjoyed hanging out for the weekend. It rained a lot, so we were very happy with the chance to enjoy it own little get a way. It was very cleaned and stocked with every thing needed. The decor was so charming! We will definitely be renting here again!

My only down fall there were no TV in the bedrooms..
PERFECT CABIN & WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE
This is a perfect cabin for a couple who wants a weekend (or longer) getaway. We loved the fireplace and used it daily – it did keep the cabin very warm! We enjoyed swinging and rocking on the back porch and used the rolling fire pit to help keep us warm. The whirlpool bath tub was also a very nice touch.
We had a nice, relaxing weekend and a wonderful experience!

My family had the pleasure of staying a week in this beautiful cabin. This cabin is centrally located to many mountain activities in both NC and GA. The gas fire place was great and very easy to use with a remote, no need to mess with a pilot or k***s. I used the propane grill numerous times and my wife had no issues cooking as the kitchen was stocked with all the amenities you need. The kids had a great time playing outside on the large deck. My favorite part is that is was pretty secluded. There was only one neighbor past the cabin at the end of the road. While in the cabin a tropical storm passed right over us only for us to wake up to a massive fallen tree completely blocking us in. Within an hour, the property management company had a guy out there with a chainsaw clearing our path. I had the pleasure of meeting other nearby neighbors and they were very friendly and welcoming. When the fall leaves got wet, the main road was pretty slick with two wheel drive but there was an alternative back road (gravel) that was well maintained that can be easily traveled with 2 wheel drive vehicle. The cabin was VERY competitively priced and I feel like we got an amazing value for what was paid. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in the Murphy area this is definitely worth a look.
Great cabin. This is our 2nd trip. Perfect cabin for those with mobility issues.

Wife and I stayed for a few days. Very clean and good location for day trips for hiking. Road is steep and narrow but paved so no issues with accessing. Very well stocked kitchen, and other amenities (i.e. games, PlayStation, movies, grill & fire pit.) Listing noted "Cable TV" but that was replaced with a fire stick. It took us a day to realize the YouTube TV app could be used to access live TV.
