Royal Caribbean’s newest mega ship is now just one month away from welcoming its first guests!
Legend of the Seas will officially debut on July 4, 2026, becoming the newest largest cruise ship in the world. As the third ship in the Icon Class, she will join Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas as one of the most innovative cruise ships ever built.
The ship will spend her inaugural summer season sailing from Barcelona, Spain, offering 7-night Mediterranean cruises that visit destinations such as Rome, Naples, Marseille, and more.
Later this year, Legend of the Seas will reposition to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she’ll begin sailing six- and eight-night Caribbean itineraries. After spending five months in South Florida, the ship is scheduled to return to Europe in April 2027.
At over 250,000 gross tons and with a maximum capacity of over 7,600 guests, Legend of the Seas will bring many of the guest-favorite features found on her sister ships, including multiple neighborhoods, entertainment venues, and the largest waterpark at sea. She will also feature a few unique additions of her own, giving guests something new to look forward to.
