🌎🐬 What does it really mean to have a zero carbon footprint?

At Blue Wave Adventures, protecting the waters we call home is a big part of what we do. From reducing our environmental impact to supporting efforts that help offset the carbon we produce, we’re always looking for ways to be better stewards of our oceans and coast.

But what exactly does “zero carbon” mean, and how does it work?

Captain Mark dives into it on our Captain’s Blog! 🌊

👉 Read more about what it means to have a zero carbon footprint and why it matters for our oceans.

🐬 “OMG :) This is worth every dollar...”

We absolutely loved reading this review! Even though the dolphins decided to keep their distance that day, this guest still had an incredible time on the water with Captain Scott and Cody.

Sometimes the best boat days are about so much more than what you came to see. 🌊💙

Thank you so much for the kind words, and especially for sharing your photos with us! We’re so glad you enjoyed your time aboard Blue Wave Adventures. 🐬

🌊🐬 What we leave behind on land can end up in the ocean.

Plastic pollution is a huge problem for our waterways and the wildlife that calls them home. One simple way we can all help? Reduce our use of single-use plastics whenever possible.

Skip the disposable bottle. Bring a reusable one. Say no to the extra plastic bag. Small choices add up.

Our oceans, dolphins, sea turtles, seabirds, and all the other wildlife sharing these waters with us deserve better. 💙

Let’s keep the water beautiful, clean, and plastic-free.

🧠🐬 TRUE OR FALSE?

Dolphins have larger brains than humans.

TRUE! A bottlenose dolphin's brain is slightly heavier than an adult human brain.

But before we crown the dolphins the winners of the intelligence contest... 😆

A bigger brain doesn't automatically mean a smarter animal. Brain size is just one piece of a much bigger puzzle.

Nevertheless, dolphins ARE exceptionally smart animals, with impressive communication, problem-solving, social, and learning abilities.

So... are dolphins smarter than us?

We'll let you debate that one. 😉🐬

🌊 The end of dolphin tour season is coming up faster than you think!

If a boat ride, salty breeze, and a few dolphins popping up beside the boat are still on your summer-to-fall bucket list, now is the time to get out on the water. 🐬

Don’t wait until the season is almost over to say, “We should’ve gone!”

Hop aboard Blue Wave Adventures and make the most of the season while you can. 💙

🐬 “We got to see sooo many dolphins too!”

We’re so happy this family chose Blue Wave Adventures for their dolphin cruise! Thank you for taking the time to share such a wonderful review and for sharing your photos with us. 💙

We love hearing that you enjoyed the smaller, more intimate experience and felt safe and comfortable out on the water. Our captains work hard to make every trip fun, safe, and memorable, while giving guests a chance to experience these beautiful animals in their natural environment.

Thank you for spending part of your Wednesday with us. We hope to see you back on the boat again! 🌊🐬

Today, we pause from the everyday to remember September 11, 2001.

We honor those we lost, the families who continue to carry their memories, and the first responders and heroes who gave so much to help others.

Never forgotten. 🇺🇸

🐬 Let's be honest — the dolphins are the real stars of the show.

Nobody's booking a trip to hear us talk. We get it. That first fin breaking the surface is what you came for, and we'll never get tired of watching people's faces when it happens.

But here's what we hope sticks with you after you step off the boat:

That these are individual animals with names and family lines our local researchers have been tracking for years. That strand feeding (dolphins deliberately throwing themselves onto a mudbank to catch fish) happens in only a handful of places on Earth, and this is one of them. That the way we approach, the distance we keep, and the decision to never chase or feed them is what keeps this population healthy enough for your kids to see the same thing someday.

The dolphins put on the show. We just hope the story comes home with you. 💙

September on the water is some of the best of the year — warm days, thinner crowds, active pods. Come see for yourself. Link in bio to book! 🌊
