Fall is one of my favorite times to explore Muskegon.

The summer crowds have slowed down, the trees are changing, the air is crisp and there is still so much to do.

Take a drive and enjoy the fall colors or spend some time walking the trails at Lake Harbor Park.

Head north for Pumpkinfest and the Montague Pumpkin Roll, or find a pumpkin patch, hayride or corn maze along the way.

Spend a morning at the Muskegon Farmers Market, wander downtown, visit the art museum, or discover a little Muskegon history.

And one of my favorites — take the Depot to Depot Fall Color Tour through Muskegon County. It's a great way to see some beautiful fall scenery and places you might otherwise drive right past.

Don't think Muskegon is only a summer destination.
