✈️ Out of Office Notice ✈️

I will be out of the office from Thursday, September 3, 2026, through Sunday, September 13, 2026.

My husband and I are looking forward to spending a few days exploring New York City before boarding the Norwegian Escape for a 7-Day Canada & New England Cruise! Our itinerary includes stops in:

All-Inclusive or Cruise? 🏝️🚢

September is almost here, and apparently, I couldn’t choose between the two! 😂
First up, I’ve got a cruise with my husband 🚢❤️ and then I turn around and head out on a girls’ trip to an all-inclusive resort! 🍹🌴

I can give you a LONG list of reasons why I love both. Cruises give me new places to explore, plenty to do onboard, and a different view almost every morning. All-inclusives give me that kick-back, grab-a-drink, relax-by-the-pool kind of vacation.

You know you’ve hit a new level of travel when the airport shuttle driver recognizes you and asks, “Where are you off to next?” 😂✈️

We’ve been using On Air Parking for our parking and shuttle needs at the Grand Rapids Airport for a long time, and they’ve always been great!

But when the shuttle drivers start knowing you by name… it really makes you wonder:

Do we travel too much? 🤔
Or have we just officially unlocked a new travel level? 😂🌎✈️

I’m going with new travel level. 🙌

✈️🚆🚗 Trains, Planes & Automobiles!

I just finished booking our own upcoming adventure, and this trip has a little bit of everything!

We’re flying into Montrose, Colorado, spending time with our kids in Telluride, hopping aboard a train to Denver for a hockey game, then flying into Detroit, renting a car, and catching a Red Wings game on our way back home to Muskegon. 🏒❤️

Planes, trains, rental cars—and a couple of hockey games along the way! This is exactly what I love about travel: sometimes the journey is just as much a part of the adventure as the destination.

And as a travel agent, putting all those moving pieces together is part of the fun. Your vacation doesn’t have to be one flight, one hotel, and one destination. We can get creative and build an experience around the things and people you love most.

🇵🇹 Apparently, I have created a wardrobe crisis.

My husband and I are heading to Lisbon at the end of this year, and I booked us at Palácio Ludovice Wine Experience Hotel.

I showed him the hotel.
That was my first mistake. 😂

He took one look at it and immediately became concerned that he is not fancy enough to stay there.
Now he’s stressing about what to wear.

Dude! We are going on vacation. You are not being presented to the King of Portugal. 🤣

Meanwhile, I’m looking at this gorgeous historic hotel in the heart of Lisbon with beautiful rooms, a spa, incredible food and — most importantly — WINE EXPERIENCES. 🍷

He’s worried about pants.
I’m worried about how many glasses of wine I can reasonably call “research.”

We are not the same. 🤣

And because your travel advisor knows a thing or two about booking hotels with perks… 😉 we’ll also get:

🍳 Free breakfast for two every morning
🍽️ A $200 credit to use toward food at the amazing restaurant on site

So while my husband is researching whether he needs a sport coat, I’m over here figuring out how much fabulous food and wine $200 will cover. 😂

Priorities.

And THIS is why I love traveling to the places I recommend. I want to experience the hotels, walk the neighborhoods, eat the food, drink the wine (again… research 🍷), and find those extra perks that can make a trip even better.

It’s a tough job, but somebody has to personally investigate the Lisbon wine hotel. 😂

So now I need your help:
What does my husband wear to a fancy hotel in Lisbon so he can stop stressing about this between now and December?

Because apparently, “just wear your normal clothes” was NOT the reassuring answer I thought it would be. 🤣

🌲🏔️ Out of Office Adventure! ✈️

I'll be taking a short break and will be out of the office from Thursday, August 20th through Sunday, August 23rd.

This trip is extra special because we're flying out to meet up with my son, who is currently on an AMAZING 9-week road trip exploring some of America's most incredible National Parks!

We'll be catching up with him at Olympic National Park to spend a few days hiking, exploring, and making memories together. ❤️🥾

During this time, I'll be mostly offline and will not be responding to emails, texts, or messages.

📅 I'll be back in the office on Monday, August 24th and will respond to all messages as soon as possible.
