Michel Lotito (AKA Mr. Eat-All) was born June 15, 1950. He has eaten, among other things, a Cessna light aircraft, 10 bicycles, 7 TVs, 6 chandeliers, a shopping cart, and a coffin. In spite of this, he claims bananas and hard-boiled eggs would make him sick. We at D&W don't recommend that you follow his diet to get in shape, but we DO recommend that you call D&W to get your lawn in shape for summer. It's definitely a lot easier than eating an airplane.

It was this day in 1973 that Tony Orlando and Dawn released their song "Tie A Yellow Ribbon 'Round the Old Oak Tree", sung by a man being released from prison who was anxiously looking for a sign from his wife to see if she welcomed his return. Yes, he saw a yellow ribbon 'round that tree, but the greater question is: did he see nasty w**ds surrounding the tree as well? If his wife had been thinking, she would have called D&W to get on the spray schedule. On this day in 1970, the mission commander uttered those famous words from Apollo 13 after the oxygen tank had blown and disrupted the levels of oxygen, electricity, light, and water. American ingenuity stepped up and tragedy turned to triumph as Apollo 13 touched down safely 4 days later in the Pacific Ocean. After WWI, the Australian military started “The Great Emu War” where they tried to thin the emu population with machine guns. Six days later, 2500 rounds of ammunition had been fired with no emu killed. It was declared an emu victory.
