Every Blue Zone Vacations condo comes with at least two beach chairs. But let's be honest — there's something to be said for not hauling anything to the beach!
Consider renting your very own spot in the colorful umbrella row. The City of Myrtle Beach contracts with John's Beach Service to run all the chair and umbrella rentals along our stretch of the beach. That signature row you always see? That's their designated franchise zone.
How to rent — Just walk up to an attendant in a blue shirt. No advance booking needed. Cash or credit card.
What it costs — $55 for 1 day (umbrella + 2 chairs). Multi-day rates get better: a full week runs $280, about $40/day.
Hours — 9 AM to 4 PM, mid-April through late September.
If you're bringing your own umbrella, city rules during peak season require it to stay in line with or behind the established umbrella row.
