I absolutely hate to hear that Greg Norman Australian Grille is closing. 💔

This has always been one of our favorite places for a special occasion at the beach. Beautiful waterfront setting, great food and service, and we’ve even spent several Thanksgivings there over the years.

I know times are hard. Gas is high. Groceries are high. Eating out is expensive. EVERYTHING costs more…yet somehow those paychecks aren’t keeping up. 😩 I get it. People are having to cut back.

But it still makes me so sad to see another restaurant close, especially knowing there are local employees losing their jobs too.

We’re feeling those rising costs at Soulshine as well, with HOA fees, insurance, taxes and other expenses increasing tremendously over the six years we’ve owned it. It’s one of the reasons we try so hard to keep our rates reasonable and offer those lower off-season prices.

I just hope things start getting a little easier for everyone soon. ❤️ And when you can, support the places you love at the beach!

The very first b**r ever brewed at Grand Strand Brewing was our Jolene Red Ale, inspired by a song and a woman who became an icon far beyond country music.

Today, we’re saving Dolly a seat at the table with a Jolene waiting for her. And in her honor, we’re pouring $5 pints of Jolene all week long. Come raise one with us to a true legend.
