A big win for one of our tourism partners and the Myrtle Beach area! 🎉

Congratulations to Hook & Barrel, named the No. 1 casual dining restaurant in the U.S. and No. 7 in the world in Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best.

Fewer than 1% of Tripadvisor’s 8 million listings achieve Best of the Best recognition, making this an outstanding accomplishment for the Hook & Barrel team.

Accolades like this help showcase the quality and variety of experiences visitors can enjoy across the Grand Strand, while bringing national and international attention to our local hospitality community.

Congratulations to Heidi Vukov and the entire Hook & Barrel team on this well-deserved recognition and for representing The Beach on a global stage! 🌊

Sunny beach weather, community celebrations for America 250 and the Fourth of July falling on a Saturday for the first time since 2020 contributed to high occupancy on Independence Day.
