The end of the pier is packed with anglers looking to catch a RED DRUM. Otherwise, BLUEFISH, NORTHERN PUFFERS and small SPECKLED TROUT have been caught so far. "It's windy, cloudy and rainy," says Mike P. and noted that the ocean water temp is 70 degrees. High tide 7:40 a.m. Low tide 2:08 p.m. Rev. Latham out of Ahoskie caught this nice BLUE yesterday.

Mid-day update: small , STRIPED , SAND , , small SPECKLED . After all of the action yesterday, there are a bunch of fisherman here today fishing off the end. Water temp 72 degrees and air temp 69 degrees at 9 a.m. There's a moderate NE breeze at 16 knots. Low tides 10:33 a.m. and 11:20 p.m. High tide 4:53 a.m.
