Brunch at Theodosia was one for the books!

We had the chance to attend The Watery Part of the World Brunch at TheodosiaRestaurant in Duck, hosted by Chef Vivian Howard with novelist Michael Parker. The morning brought together incredible food, Outer Banks history and storytelling inspired by Parker’s novel, The Watery Part of the World.

And the food? Every course gave us something new to talk about. From marinated crab claws and Little Gem salad to the Grit Soufflé Benedict and Down East Chocolate Crème, this was such a fun way to experience the creativity coming out of Theodosia.

Beautiful setting, seriously delicious food, and an experience that felt completely unique to the Outer Banks. We’re already looking forward to seeing what Theodosia does next! 🤍

We made a stop at Dirty Dick’s Crab House in Avon, and everything was seriously delicious. 🦀

We started with the Seared Tuna, coated in coarse black pepper and seared rare, served with edamame succotash, soy sauce, and wasabi, along with a basket of crispy fried clam strips. Both were so good and the perfect way to start the meal.

Then came the spicy peel-and-eat shrimp and the Crab Melt, loaded with crab dip, applewood smoked bacon, and melted cheddar/jack cheese on DDX bread. The Crab Melt was rich, cheesy, packed with flavor, and definitely one of our favorites.

Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and so satisfying. If you’re in Avon and craving seafood, Dirty Dick's Crab House Avon, NC is absolutely worth a stop.

There’s just something about an evening at Sugar Creek. 🌅🦀🍹

We had such a great time enjoying delicious food, great drinks, and some of the best waterfront views on the Outer Banks. Sitting right on the Albemarle Sound, Sugar Creek Seafood Restaurant is one of those places where dinner comes with a sunset you won’t forget.

Good food, cold drinks, waterfront views- what more could you ask for? 💙

If you are looking for the best pizza in Southern Shores, look no further! 🔥🍕

We spent some time hanging out at Southern Shores Pizza & Deli, and let's just say, come hungry. Colby gave us the full tour, including their new dining area, the kitchen where all the magic happens, and yes, even his office, the true headquarters of the operation.

Every bite was ridiculously good.

If seafood is calling your name, Dirty Dick's Crab House needs to be on your list. 🦀

We went for lunch and definitely didn't leave hungry. We kicked things off with the Dicktator Fries (don't skip the homemade jalapeño dressing; the jalapeños are grown right in their garden), fried pickles, and their famous Da Dip. Then came the Fried Crab Lasagna, followed by the Trinity Platter loaded with snow crab, middleneck clams, spiced shrimp, two jumbo Dancing Shrimp, low country sausage, corn, potatoes, and grilled pineapple.

If you're searching for seafood in Nags Head, stop the search. Dirty Dick's Crab House - Nags Head has the kind of menu that makes it hard to decide what to order, and even harder to leave room for dessert.

POV: You stop by American Pie for just a quick dinner and somehow end the night making chocolate ice cream nachos in your hotel room. 🍦

Leslie and Annie Hayes took on a full spread at American Pie with mozzarella sticks, a Greek salad, a loaded meat lovers pizza, and not one, but TWO chocolate dipped cones with sprinkles. Every single thing we tried was so good

We even managed to get a quick cameo from Mr. Brian Miller himself between all the delicious food chaos. 😂

And yes… Leslie really did go back later that night for another cone after walking over from the Ramada Plaza across the street. No regrets.

Miller's Seafood and Steakhouse just dropped a brand new bar… so we had to check it out.

Started with their legendary hushpuppies, then went in on the seared ahi tuna and the stuffed flounder, both unreal. And if you think you’re leaving without dessert… you’re not. The dessert platter seals the deal every time.
