Our September Outer Banks Restaurant Association meeting at Black Pelican Seafood Company was a great reminder of just how much energy and involvement there is within our local restaurant community. 🍽️👏

We’re excited to have so many members engaged, sharing ideas, and helping shape what’s next for OBRA. There’s a lot in the works, including a new website and even more social content to help spotlight the restaurants, people, and businesses that make the Outer Banks dining scene what it is.

Outer Banks dining at its finest. 👏 Bad Bean Baja Grill is bringing the flavor!

The shredder, a Bad Bean staple. Pan seared steak, griddled white cheddar cheese curds, garlic cilantro fries rolled up all fatty style and smothered in a house made red chili sauce, topped with queso fresco and cilantro. It’s Epic!

Shuck yeah, Outer Banks! 🦪🎉

This November, something brand new is coming to the OBX. Shuck Yeah! An Outer Banks Oyster Affair takes place November 9-14, 2026, bringing local restaurants together for a week of creative oyster dishes and friendly competition.

Come hungry, taste your way through the participating restaurants, try the different oyster creations, and pick your favorites. It’s a whole week dedicated to great oysters, local restaurants, and another delicious reason to spend time on the Outer Banks.
