Couldn’t get reservations to the new Space 220 in Epcot since we booked our trip so late but we were able to wait in line to sit at the bar. I give it an A+ for service, food and atmosphere. It was a stellar experience! 😉 I love experiencing these new things so I can help clients make the most of their vacations!

Made it home from Disney World tonight. I have to say, I really like living within driving distance. Yesterday we went to Epcot. We had friends drive out to spend part of the day with us and also had fun running into other friends who were there. Despite the rainy day, we hit all of the rides we wanted and made several laps around the World Showcase sampling food from the Food & Wine Festival.

Today, we were supposed to be at Hollywood Studios until it was time to drive home but when we didn’t get a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance, we changed plans and relaxed at the resort until it was time for lunch at Mama Melrose’s and then we headed to the park.

Can’t wait to plan another trip. Who’s in??

Magic Kingdom today. Crowds and wait times were unreal. Normal afternoon thunderstorms hit as usual. Had a blast riding our favorites and seeing how many rides we could squeeze in despite the wait times. The castle is finally finished being decorated for the upcoming 50th anniversary. I like it much better finished than when it was first painted.

In other news, Disney released information stating as of Friday, July 30, masks will once again be required in all indoor spaces regardless of your vaccination status.

Didn’t take too many pictures today. Met up at Animal Kingdom with friends who happened to be vacationing down here. I was having so much fun, I forgot to take pictures.

First full park day, Hollywood Studios. Got Boarding group 64 for Rise of the Resistance which we were happy with. Turns out the ride was down a good portion of the day so our group wasn’t called until pretty late in the afternoon. It was hot and crowded and everything you would expect Disney World to be in the summer. The afternoon thunderstorms started right when we were thinking of doing Slinky Dig Dash so that never happened. Had a great day!

Hopped in the car with my daughter and drove down to Disney World today. She missed out on a senior year, prom and graduation so we gifted her a trip to a destination of her choice. Shockingly she chose Disney World (I was rooting for an all inclusive!). We spent the afternoon eating our way through Disney Springs. Up tomorrow, Hollywood Studios. Fingers crossed for a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance.
