As one of the few Charter Captains that was raised on Marco Island fishing I have spent many years transforming my passion into my profession. I have been professionally Charter Fishing around Marco Island for 4 years, putting clients on fish of all species including our popular sport fish and other quality fish for dinner. Regardless if you’re a fisherman wanting to go out for a trophy or just the a family wanting to go out for a fun day of fishing, you will have a great time catching fish and enjoying the water and sights Marco Island has to offer.
A lot of people have a concern that “well I don’t know what I am doing and I don’t want to feel out of place or even silly for charting a boat” but that is actually the opposite of reality. The reality is most clients and families who Charter a boat have little to no experience at all, which is the exact reason to charter a boat, so someone like me with a lifetime of experience can help facilitate your experience on the water fishing and enjoying boating worry free for a day you won’t soon forget! Young children are also frequent guests on the boat, I am very family oriented and able to teach young kids fishing fundamentals that they can not only use in fishing for the day your with me, but maybe develop skills and possible a passion for enjoying the outdoors and fishing as I have. My goal is to help others enjoy fishing or being on the water as much as I do, and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
My Backstory: As a child I grew up fishing off shore with my father on his boat, as well as fishing all around the island on my bike with my friends. As I grew older I began expanding my reach, taking a boat out when I could to explore more of the Ten Thousand Islands. Through seemingly countless years my friends and I fished for anything and everything the island had to offer, from large migrating tarpon to our Island resident Snook and Redfish, and off shore for everything from Goliath Grouper to migrating Black Fin Tuna. After I graduated high school I joined the coast guard where I spent a total of 6 years. During which time I had earned enough days on the water to get my 100 gross ton master captains license, which should help you feel at ease when I take you and your family on the water.
