Naples Boat Adventures turned into Naples Bird Adventures today. While on an island in the 10,000 islands we noticed this exhausted and potentially injured bird who was unable to fly. We called a neighbor in Port of the Islands who is a courier for Audubon Western Everglades and the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. We loaded this little one up and Pamela took him in to be cared for. This is a Ruddy Turnstone, a migratory bird from the Arctic. How cool is that?! Hope he makes it!
