There’s something very exciting happening in Naples for anyone who truly loves Italian wine 🇮🇹

I had the chance to visit the new location of Ambrosi & Sons Italian Market & Wine Tasting Room - and their stunning new space takes everything to another level.

Think: a curated selection of Italian wines you don’t typically see on retail shelves, paired with artisan products sourced from across Italy. What really sets it apart is the tasting room concept - an inviting space designed for lingering, discovering, and enjoying Italian wines in a more thoughtful way.

Pair your wines with authentic small bites, from a decadent cacio e pepe frittatina to what may be the finest cannoli I’ve ever tasted (don’t leave without asking about their signature ricotta filling!).

This isn’t just a market. It’s a place to discover producers, regions, and stories behind the bottle.

And yes… you may very well find me at the bar, “studying” for my Barolo & Barbaresco Academy coursework 😉🍷

A beautiful addition to Naples’ growing wine scene - and one you won’t want to miss.

World Chaine Day with La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Naples felt especially meaningful this year as we also raised a glass to America’s 250th 🇺🇸

An evening centered around a beautifully prepared lobster dinner, paired thoughtfully with a lineup of all-American wines from our Chaîne cellar - proof that when it comes to craftsmanship, heritage, and sense of place, American producers stand confidently on the world stage.

Celebrating tradition, camaraderie, and the shared table… exactly what Chaîne is meant to be.

A special evening at Acqua Bistecca 🍷

This Gaja wine dinner was truly something special - an incredible lineup paired with a beautifully executed menu. It was a pleasure to meet , and the food absolutely delivered - refined, thoughtful, and perfectly in sync with the wines.

The lineup from Gaja captured both the elegance and structure that define these incomparable wines from Piemonte: a vibrant Chardonnay, a unique and delicious blend of Barbera and Nebbiolo, followed by the elegance and depth of Barbaresco and Barolo.

Evenings like this are a reminder of how powerful the connection between food, wine, and place can be.

I am so thrilled that my clients will be visiting Ruinart next week! This time, it’s a group of girlfriends experiencing Champagne together as a day trip from Paris.

These are a few photos from my most recent visit to the region last year. Founded in 1729, is the oldest Champagne house, with a long history tied to the vision of Dom Thierry Ruinart, who recognized early on the potential of sparkling wine from the region.

But what truly sets a visit apart are the historic chalk cellars - the crayères - carved deep underground. These UNESCO-listed caves date back to the Gallo-Roman era and provide the perfect conditions for aging Champagne. Walking through them is like stepping into another world - quiet, cool, and deeply connected to the history of the region.

If you’re planning time in Champagne, Ruinart is a must-visit - not just for the wines, but for the sense of place and history that defines it. 🥂

There are nights when a restaurant transports you somewhere else entirely - and this was one of them.

Piedmont is one of Italy’s most compelling culinary regions, so seeing it featured at immediately piqued my interest. We started with a Roero Arneis from Bruno Giacosa - fresh, vibrant, and quietly complex. One of my very favorite varietals! I paired it with an apple and fennel salad. The crisp acidity of the wine with the subtle sweetness of the apple and the aromatic fennel was one of those effortless pairings that just clicks.

But the real moment for me was the Tajarin.

If you’ve been to Piedmont, you know this dish. Traditionally made with a high ratio of egg yolks, Tajarin is a delicate, silky pasta - often cut thinner than fettuccine and served simply to let the texture shine. This dish was made with a flavorful sausage ragú, just as I’ve had it in Piedmont. One bite, and I was right back there.

That’s the power of food and wine done well - it doesn’t just taste good, it brings you somewhere.

A classic, beautifully structured Barolo from brought depth, elegance, and just the right amount of grip to balance the richness of the Tajarin. Notes of rose, red fruit, and earth added complexity without overpowering - exactly what you want in a pairing like this.

A little taste of Piedmont, right here in Naples. 🍷

Excited to embark on my next chapter of wine education with the Barolo & Barbaresco Academy! After spending time in Piedmont, including a visit to in Serralunga d’Alba, I had the pleasure of meeting Sergio Germano, President of the Consorzio di Tutela Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe e Dogliani. His encouragement to pursue the Academy made this next step even more meaningful. Always investing in deeper knowledge so I can better guide my clients to the world’s great wine regions - there is truly no substitute for firsthand experience!

Sharing a few photos of my visit to the gorgeous estate. Cannot wait to return! 🍷
