Your vacation shouldn’t begin in a taxi line.
After nine hours in the air, the last thing I want to do when I arrive at my destination is stand in a taxi queue, figure out fares, navigate exchange rates, or negotiate transportation while exhausted.
I learned that lesson after watching a couple ahead of me pay nearly twice what they should have for their ride into Rome. They were tired, unfamiliar with the fare, and simply didn’t have the energy to question it.
That’s why I believe the luxury experience should begin the moment you land.
