🌟 Trip Report: Day 6 – Marble Mountains, Pisa, Florence & Fun Onboard! 🏛️🍷🌄
Today we docked in Marina di Carrara, and wow — the mountain views were incredible! We could even spot the famous Carrara marble quarries carved right into the hills. So cool to see where some of the world’s most luxurious stone originates!
Next up, we explored two iconic Italian cities: Pisa and Florence.
In Pisa, we had to do the classic “holding up the Leaning Tower” pose — because really, who doesn’t?
Then it was on to Florence, where we admired the stunning architecture and the jaw-dropping Carrara marble Duomo (Florence Cathedral). Absolutely breathtaking!
We paused for a delicious Italian lunch before heading back, taking in the views of dozens of beach clubs lining the coast — now we know why this area is such a hot spot in the summer.
Back onboard the Scarlet Lady, we wrapped up the day with Korean BBQ at Gunbae, complete with fun group games and tons of laughter.
