Y'all, I need you to appreciate the audacity of this photo.

This was me, snorkeling Silfra in Iceland with the water temp a steady 35-39°F, fed by glacier meltwater that's been filtering through lava rock for decades. You're floating literally between the North American and Eurasian continental plates in some of the clearest water on the planet.

I remember thinking "this is almost too cold to handle."

Now, I'm home with a Tennessee heat index that made me reconsider that opinion entirely.

If anyone needs me, I'll be staring at this photo like it's a cool glass of water. Which, weirdly, it kind of is.

Real talk: there’s a very specific age where “Back That Ass Up” becomes a knee-injury risk instead of a good time. 😂

Good news: Alaska doesn’t ask you to drop it low, it just asks you to bring a warm coat and an appreciation for glaciers.

If your body’s been sending you the same signals, I know a few glaciers with your name on them 👀

It's July, but let's be honest some of us are already picturing string lights, cozy sweaters, and a trip that actually feels like Christmas instead of just another to-do list.

It’s 100+ degrees outside, we’re in the middle of a heat wave, and even Mariah Carey is thawing out early because of it. 🥵➡️🥶🎄 (And we’re only 175 days from Christmas.)

If the heat’s got her defrosting ahead of schedule, that’s your sign too.

175 days sounds like a lot until you realize that’s exactly how much time you don’t have to procrastinate on booking that Christmas trip. The good flights, the good resorts, the good everything…they go first.
