It’s really common for these old Fender pickups to come in for rewinding. Moisture seeps between the poles and the coils and rots the windings from the inside out. The only thing to do is rewind it with the same type and gauge of wire. We match the tension and number of windings as close as possible and shield the inner coil with tape or lacquer to prevent this from happening again. This pickup will be good for another 50+ years!

The hum-canceling Tele bridge pickup uses two coils mounted side-by-side, reverse-wound with reverse-polarity, wired in parallel. If that sounds confusing just know that this delivers classic Tele tone with no unwanted humming sound.

Due to the the supply chain issues and rising shipping costs every business is facing these days, I have decided to raise prices of pickups by about 10% across the board. I have always prided myself on being able to create some truly unique pickup designs for prices that were very competitive in the boutique pickup world, so it is difficult for me to do this, even though it is about 2 years overdue. I hope this doesn't turn away any regular customers, but be sure, we are still making the same great-sounding pickups from the best parts we can find. Thanks for your support of my family and very very small business.
