Hop on the Ale Trail this weekend to celebrate National Beer Day and New Beer’s Eve!

New Beer’s Eve, TODAY April 6th, celebrates the repeal of the 18th Amendment and the ratification of the 21st Amendment - the end of Prohibition!

National Beer Day, April 7th, commemorates the day these legislative changes went into effect.

What better way to celebrate this victory than by supporting one of the many independent craft breweries across Tennessee? Better yet, why not earn points and prizes for supporting them by using your Tennessee Ale Trail passport?

Can’t wait to see you on the trail!

Happy Veterans Day! Today we honor those men and women who have bravely served our country. We are forever grateful for your sacrifice and commitment to protecting our freedom and safety.

As you celebrate this Veteran’s Day weekend, make sure to check your passport for all Veterans Day promotions at your local brewery. The trail has recently completed its fall update, meaning there are even more locations where you can earn points for drinking local.

We’re proud to share that many trail breweries are owned by or employ veterans. Be sure to check with your local brewery and pass on a heartfelt “Thank you” to the veterans who work there!

This Farm to Tap Friday we’re celebrating National Honey Month!

Did you know honey was used as currency in 11th century Germany because it was considered the perfect ingredient for sweetening beer?

While we don’t use honey as currency anymore, Tennessee brewers have carried on the tradition of brewing with honey for its special subtle sweetness.

This National Honey Month, join us in celebrating with a cold, local honey beer or mead 🍻

Shoutout to the for the fun facts!

In collaboration with Beer Babes Family, Common Law Brewing Co. and Dark Shadow Brewing Co just released a Muscadine Ale (Babe Brew 3.1) for the September Babe Brew edition!

This muscadine ale was brewed with locally sourced muscadine, Tennessee 2-Row barley, flaked rice, and local Tennessee corn making this brew a true Farm to Tap beer. Check out Babe Brew 3.1 for a limited time only at Common Law Brewing in Spring Hill, TN!

Flavor profile:
Babe Brew 3.1 is a hybrid beer combining the dry hoppy character of a brut IPA and subtle fruit character like an Italian grape ale (but with muscadine instead of grapes). To balance the dry malt backbone and compliment the muscadine, nelson sauvin, galaxy, and enigma hops are added as dry hops into the fermenter.

About Beer Babes and Babe Brew:
The Beer Babes Family™ is a charitable organization in the USA and Canada that strives to support and positively engage all women in the beer community. This includes the casual beer drinkers to the highest level of brewers, Cicerones and Beer Judges. Beer Babes collaborates with breweries throughout North America to brew Babe Brew™. Funds raised from a portion of the sales of Babe Brew are collected and awarded in the form of grants. Grants will be awarded to women who work in the beer industry who are trying to improve their beer business.
