Great things happen when passionate people come together.

Yesterday’s GBTA Tennessee Board meeting at the new Tempo by Hilton Nashville Midtown was a reminder of the power of collaboration, volunteer leadership, and shared purpose.

As we plan future events, educational opportunities, and initiatives for our members, I’m grateful to serve alongside such a talented group of travel and hospitality professionals who care deeply about our industry and our chapter’s success.

Thank you to our hosts for the warm hospitality and to my fellow board members for the time, energy, and expertise you contribute to GBTA Tennessee.

Wednesday night, GBTA Tennessee came together at Tempo by Hilton Nashville Downtown for a restorative yoga and sound bath experience that was both grounding and deeply refreshing.

With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, the evening felt especially meaningful. In our industry, we often focus on caring for travelers and guests, but just as importantly, we have to make space to care for ourselves.

As we moved through a thoughtfully guided practice and immersive sound bath, we were reminded of the power of slowing down, releasing stress, resetting, and simply being present.

A special shout out to Horn Wellness for crafting this experience, and to Tempo by Hilton Nashville Downtown for creating a welcoming space to recharge, along with the refreshing mocktails and nourishing bites that rounded out such a restorative evening.

Grateful for this community and the reminder that wellness is not a luxury, it’s essential.
