Rolling Food Tours! Join us for tours of Nashville's most interesting food spots! Visit 4-6 spots in Roll with the Foodies!

Let's visit some of Nashville's unique culinary spots together. We arrange food tours around a theme and transport you in our comfortable 14-passenger van - try our BBQ Pit Stop tour, Just Desserts tour, Around the World international foods tour, East Nashville Food Hop or West Side Food Hop or our Food Truck Chase tour. We also provide private tours for your business outing, birthday adventure, b

achelor/bachelorette party, or family reunion. Small groups of up to 12 adventurers travel together in our comfortable van, visiting pre-selected food spots and sampling some of the most interesting fare in town. You'll learn about the history and preparation of the food and the venue, enjoying the experience with your fellow culinary adventurers and with narration and information from your Nashville Food Adventures guide. In many cases, you'll meet the chef, pit master, baker, or brewer, who'll give you personal insights about their food. Bring along your favorite beverage, or purchase something to drink at one of our stops - many of our tours include a brewery or distillery tour or even a specialty soda shop. You're welcome to BYOB - as long as you provide ID. NFA can also provide water, soda, or wine at an additional cost. Come ready to have a blast - it's a great time you'll always remember!

Tour Guide appreciation post! Let us introduce you to Scott!

We’d like to share with you some of the kind words our guests have shared with us about the wonderful tour guides on our team!

Today, we share what our guest, John, had to say about his tour with Scott. Scott has been a Dabble Tour guide for several years and combines a background in education, an encyclopedic knowledge of country music history, his own experiences as a singer-songwriter in Nashville, and his passion for sharing all of that with YOU!

And now, here’s what John had to say:

“We met on the food tour that you led yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately my wife and I won’t be able to
take your tour today as we had thought. We hope to catch your other tours the next time we are in Nashville, and we will be recommending you to our friends in the city and anyone we know who comes to visit. We will also leave an online review and check out The Royal Hounds [Scott’s band].

As I mentioned to you yesterday, you are one of the very finest guides that we’ve ever had. Angie and I travel frequently and take lots of tours, often with a company that hires academic experts as guides. You combine expert knowledge with wonderful humor and a great personal touch. I especially appreciated how you deftly accommodated my family-in-laws mobility issues and dealt forthrightly with Nashville’s racial history. You are a skilled storyteller.

Come on out to Far Better Distillery for A Far Better 4th!
Live Music! Drink Specials! Uncle Sam!

On the 4th, Far Better Distillery / Dabble Studio - Dabble Tours & Events will be hosting The Royal Hounds, one of the most original bands in Nashville, playing live music in the District Lofts courtyard behind Far Better/Dabble, from 2:30-4:30 pm. You might know the lead singer of The Royal Hounds, Scott Hinds, from around the neighborhood -- He is also one of our awesome tour guides for Dabble Tours and Events! The Royal Hounds play weekly at both Layla's and Robert's Western World, and they are awesome!!

Special guest Uncle Sam (aka Chris Simpson -- the husband of Red, another Dabble tour guide you might know!) will also be on hand — on stilts, actually! — from 2:30 to 4:30 pm, with fun for all ages including comedy juggling, photo opps, and balloon twisting! We'll have corn hole games in the courtyard, too!

The distillery will be open on the 4th from 1-5:30 pm offering free tastings, frozen drink specials (both with and without alcohol), and bottle specials. We hope to see you there!

Let’s talk about comfort food rn. THIS is just what the doctor ordered! Jessica at took care of us with hot-from-the-oven Cheddar Cheese Biscuits with Honey Butter. (And she also recommended their excellent Chicken Scratch Salad with rotisserie chicken.) Lynn created her own innovative beverage by adding some of TJ’s Bearded Iris Homestyle IPA to the house-made Fruit Tea. Genius! 😃 Waldo’s is a favorite stop on our Germantown Food and History Walking Tour and a personal fav!

“TJ and LJ were here” 😃 —> When you visit the Jack Daniel’s Visitors’ Center in Lynchburg, make sure to plan time for a meal at ! Located just off the quaint town square, a short walk across a lovely leafy bridge, Barrelhouse BBQ is chock full of atmosphere—and amazing BBQ! Our server, Becca, was a delight and helped us maximize our visit. Both the Grilled Cheese on Crack and the Grilled Cheese Crack Jack were amazing—fresh bread, flavorful and moist pulled pork, and awesome sauces on these amped up grilled cheese sandwiches! For sides, we got the vinegar slaw and baked beans and on Becca’s advice, mixed them together—yum!! For dessert, we started with the Jack in the Bundt cake (amazing!) but when a neighboring table ordered the banana pudding and we saw Charles bring it out warm from the oven, we had to get some. Made with Charles’ mom’s recipe, it is the best we’ve ever had! Get yourself some!

Perfect day for a tour and tasting at the Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg! Great tour, great Tennessee whiskey, AND great weather! We met the nicest people everywhere we went in Lynchburg, and the great local guides and distillery staff, and all of the history included in the tour, gave the experience a very personal and local feel. Highly recommend! (And Lynchburg is less than an hour-and-a-half drive from Nashville!)

Had the best kind of food adventure celebrating TJ’s birthday last night at ! A truly memorable and special experience from beginning to end, with inventive, beautiful, and delicious dishes, great intimate atmosphere and impeccable service. This is the rare restaurant where you can trust that no matter what you order, it will be uniquely flavored, expertly prepared, and delicious! Highly recommend. Thank you, Craig and the whole team at Peninsula, for a great evening of outstanding food and drink!
