TOM'S CABIN AT POAGUE RUN:
Step back in time at this beautiful log cabin in the country. This special place is furnished with antiques and old woodwork from a previous cabin on the site, yet has all of the amenities of modern day home. Curl up and enjoy an evening of reading, selecting from the nice collection of books, play any of the many board games provided, or just relax in the jacuzzi tub. B

Two bedrooms each with a queen-sized bed, Kids Loft with custom log twin over full bunk bed and full-sized futon, Full kitchen with refrigerator, stove and oven, dishwasher, Microwave, toaster and single brew/full pot coffeemaker, Jacuzzi tub in main bedroom, Full bath with shower, Dining area, Guest phone, WiFi, Roku TV with streaming services available, DVD & DIRECTV, Xbox 360, Heat & air conditioning, ceiling fan, Front porch with swing, Back porch with table, chairs, backyard games, and Gas and Charcoal grill.


1926 C&O GUEST CABOOSE:
This caboose is a work of love and every bit is used so that it will be comfortable, fun and efficient. It is perfect for a couple or small family. The interior has been refurbished with western red cedar walls, cherry floors, and the original curved wood ceiling. Throughout the caboose are railroad memorabilia including signal lanterns, pictures of cabooses in action, marker lights and information about the history of cabooses. The bedroom has a double captains bed, custom made by Ohio Amish craftsmen with a memory foam mattress and drawers underneath. The bath has a shower with on demand hot water. In the front galley area there is a "daybed" and TV, as well as a small kitchen area. In the hallway is a ladder leading to the cupola, where small children can sleep on mats and sleeping bags.​ Outside there is a large brick patio with curved rock wall for outside activities. Here you will find a gas "Hobo Fire" pit for cool evenings. A large stew pot holds wood fires for cooking hot dogs or toasting marshmallows on the patio. There is a gas grill for cookouts and picnic table for meals. AMENITIES INCLUDE:
Bedroom with full-sized captain's bed, custom-sized "daybed", two kid-sized mats and sleeping bags in the copula lookout, indoor cooking area with mini refrigerator, stovetop, convection microwave, and Keurig coffeemaker, Full bath with shower, Flat screen TV with DIRECTV and Wifi streaming for guests' Netflix, Vudu, & Amazon Prime Video accounts. Heat & air conditioning, Rear patio with outdoor seating, gas & charcoal grills, and a hobo fire pit.
