🌲 Another Milestone Reached! 🌄
Yesterday, Rocco & I completed the Vermont section of the Appalachian Trail, making it the 5th state finished, ( 3rd for Rocco) connecting a continuous hike from New Hampshire to Pennsylvania.

I first stepped onto the AT back in 2017 with a dream of finishing every state. But over the years, that dream evolved. I realized that what truly fills me up is not just checking off miles, but sharing the trail & bringing others to these beautiful places & watching them fall in love with nature the same way I did.

Vermont has a special place in my heart.
Over the years, I’ve returned again & again -camping, hiking, & adventuring with so many amazing people. One time, we had 26 people together for a camping trip! With my son we’ve summited Killington , with my sister we camped on Bromley peak ,done a moose tour trek, & made memories that I’ll never forget.

This last stretch up that long hill wasn’t easy, but finishing it reminded me why I keep doing this. These are the things that matter most to me. Not money. Not titles. Just real moments, real effort, and real connection.

🥾A little rain & mud didn’t stop this group, it only added to the adventure! It was so special to see so many new faces & returning families with their kids. These moments are what make our community so meaningful. 💚

Before the hike, we shared the inspiring story of Nano—who lives off the grid in Costa Rica. His way of life has helped shift the perspective of many of us, reminding us of what really matters. This summer, we’ll continue raising funds to help him get solar panels for his home. ☀️Thank you everyone whos stepped up. Msg us if you’d like to help.

Thank you all for showing up, getting muddy, and being part of something bigger.

👏👏🔦It was so nice to connect with this crew last night, even if I couldn’t participate. I really missed the energy & seeing my friends.

I’m beyond grateful for everyone who has stepped up & contributed to building solar for Nano💡. Being part of something that’s not only meaningful but also gives back in such a real way is truly inspiring. 😇

Last night reminded me how special this community is Thank you all for the heart you bring. ❤️⚡🌍

Our Wednesday night group sunset hikes are free to the public. We ask people who can to make a small donation to support Nano, a Costa Rican native who has dedicated his life to living simply, sustainably, & peacefully off the grid.

Nano’s self-sustained farm is built on compassion & care, his animals are not for food but family, & he’s become an inspiration to many, including Kevin & others from this group , showing how to live a fulfilled life without material wealth.

Now aging & facing medical challenges, Nano is considering installing a solar panel to provide basic electricity for lighting & to power essentials like his portable radio, which he listens to while working on the land. Supporting Nano is a way to give back to someone who has helped others reconnect with a simpler, less stressful way of life. Maybe someday you can come meet Nano & witness him living the “ pura vida “. A little goes a long way. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

👏👏We had a great time on our group hike to Castle Craig tonight 🏰 it was especially fun having an 11 yr old join us. He kept a great pace and had a blast. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and it was wonderful to share the trail with new and familiar faces.

Nauyaca Waterfalls is a Costa Rican family owned nature reserve which offers swimming as well as trails for hiking, horseback riding , or off road 4x4 through a farm. This 1,000 acre well maintained property borders 2 magnificent waterfalls totaling over 200’ along the the Barucito River. Hosting an abundance of wildlife like the toucans , pumas , several other bird , butterfly & frog species & more.

5 miles off the Central Pacific coast , the Nauyaca Waterfalls are located in a canyon approximately 18 feet wide. One of the falls is 145’ high in free fall ,the other 65’ high in stepped fall, forming at the foot of it, a pool of 11,000 sq. feet & 20’ deep. There are several other natural pools of smaller size, with huts , fire pits , & picnic tables which can be used for the private enjoyment of the entire family.

Nauyaca Waterfalls is an ideal place for lovers of nature & adventure in one of the most beautiful & sought after places in Costa Rica. 🇨🇷💦🥾💚

Went to 1 of ly favorite local spots today & we saw a monkey pass by a sloth. We were able to catch them together in this video. More photos in the comments below.
