Another day, another opportunity to learn more about the destinations I send my clients to! ✈️🌴

Tonight I attended an event with the Jalisco, Puerto Vallarta, and Guadalajara Tourism Boards, and I came home with SO much new information to share!

We had the opportunity to meet directly with tourism representatives and suppliers with properties in Puerto Vallarta, learn more about what makes these destinations unique, and discover even more experiences available beyond the resort. 🇲🇽

And of course, they treated us pretty well too. The food was delicious, and there was even a surprise tequila tasting during dinner!

These are the kinds of events I love attending because the more I learn about a destination and the relationships I build with the people who are actually there, the better I can help YOU plan your vacation.

And the night ended with a pretty exciting surprise...

A little behind the scenes of travel advisor life! ✈️🌴

Yesterday I stepped away from the office for a Vacation Express Lunch & Learn in Milwaukee!

We got to connect directly with Vacation Express and several of their hotel and resort partners, hear the latest updates, ask questions, and learn more about destinations and properties I can recommend to my clients.

Events like this are one of the many things happening behind the scenes at Happy Go Ivy Travels. The more I learn and the stronger the relationships I build with our travel partners, the more knowledge, recommendations, and support I can bring to YOUR vacations. 🩵

Plus, they fed us VERY well, so I'm certainly not complaining about today's work assignment. 😂🍝

OUT OF OFFICE: San Antonio, Texas! 🤠

I'm spending the next few days at Travel Market, learning, connecting, and talking all things travel! 🌎

I'll be attending trainings, meeting with travel partners from around the world, reconnecting with industry friends, and bringing home even more knowledge and resources to help plan YOUR vacations. 🩵

I'll still be checking in while I'm away, but responses may be a little slower than usual as I soak up as much as I can!

Time to learn a ton... and probably add 47 more places to my own travel list. 😂✈️

If Alaska has been sitting on your bucket list, think about joining my group cruise! Especially if the thought of figuring out the cruise, flights, hotels, excursions and all the little details on your own feels overwhelming.
