From Tillamook County Sheriff's Office: No Illegal Fireworks in Tillamook County.

With three brush fires already ignited nearby in the past few days, local law enforcement is on heightened alert. We are actively patrolling, issuing citations, and confiscating any illegal fireworks—nothing explosive, aerial, or unpermitted is allowed.

Our goal is simple: prevent dangerous fires and protect our county’s forests, parks, and communities. Even a single spark in this dry season can cause major damage.

- Parade kicks off at 11 a.m. (featuring the Dachshund Races!), followed by a National Guard flyover
- Fireworks begin at dusk (~10 p.m.) over the sand at Ocean’s Edge Wayside

🎉 Manzanita 4th of July Parade
- Family-friendly fun with marching bands, giant crabs & dancing librarians
- Parade begins at 1 p.m. along Laneda Ave & Division

🎤 Nehalem Bay Winery – Independence Day Music
- Live music over July 4–6—free admission, beautiful bay views

🚂 Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad – Fireworks Spectacular
- Evening train ride and fireworks show departing Garibaldi on July 4 (around 8:30–11:30 p.m.). Wheelchair accessible—book early!

🐮 Cloverdale Clovers Day Celebration – Saturday, July 5 | 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Fun parade led by Clover the Cow, vendors, music, kids’ activities & more

Summer Kite Festival is 4 days away! Join us June 21 & 22 at the D River State Recreation Site from 10 am - 4 pm. 🪁

Watch gigantic inflatable kites fill the sky while professional kite flyers from around the world showcase their skillful choreography.

And keep an eye out for floats! During festival hours, ten of these special kite fest themed floats will be dropped on the festival grounds.

Free parking will be available at the Lincoln City Community Center and on the top level of the parking structure at the Lincoln City Outlets. Shuttle buses will run continuously from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm both days to get you to and from the festival grounds.

We are opening a 7-hole course on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 12 noon!!!

We will be open on Friday-Sunday, then we will temporarily close on Monday June 16, 2025 through Thursday June 19, 2025 for further work on the course. The FULL COURSE will open on Friday June 20, 2025!!!
