Baseball confessions:
Why We Like Group Travel for Baseball
Ron and Deb
Having visited all 30 MLB parks over the past few years, we prefer group travel vs going it alone to strange cities.
As it happens, most ballparks are typically located in older or transitional neighborhoods that sometime feel a little intimidating to a first-time visitor. On top of this, if you’re driving your own car or a rental then you are adding another layer of planning and stress to an activity that is intended to be fun and relaxing.
Our number one reason we prefer group travel for visiting baseball parks is the moment we step on the bus on the first day we can feel typical vacation stress leaving our bodies. Someone else is now taking care of all the trip details: game tickets, travel maps and routing, hotels, sightseeing and, of course, parking and easy access to the game.
There are many other great benefits and value from baseball group travel. These benefits include meeting new friends and the activities over and above visiting the great ballparks and the amazing cities where the parks reside.
At Bonus Baseball Tours we are ball fans who for more than 17 years have spend our summers traveling to all 30 MLB Parks from Seattle to Miami and from San Diego to Boston. We started Bonus Baseball Tours as a way to give back to baseball and to share our love of the game with you.
Let's get to the ballpark!
