There comes a point in life when you either keep dreaming about it, or you take the leap and go make it happen.

I'm taking that leap.

I'm officially leaving Wisconsin and heading to
Homer Alaska the Halibut Capital of the World to become a charter captain and run my own boat.

Fishing has never been just a hobby to me. It's been my passion, my escape, and something I've poured my heart into for as long as I can remember. Countless early mornings, long days on the water, sacrifices, hard work, and determination have all led to this moment.

This opportunity is more than a job—it's a dream come true. It's a chance to wake up every day doing what I love in one of the most incredible places on earth.

To everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, believed in me, and helped me along the way—thank you. Your support means more than you'll ever know.

I'm excited, humbled, nervous, grateful, and absolutely ready for the adventure ahead. Sometimes the biggest rewards in life come from taking the biggest chances.

Here's to chasing dreams, embracing the unknown, and proving that with enough passion and determination, anything is possible.

Welcome to my office and the boat I will be running.

I will be back mid September with lots of experience and ready to run trips for the hot bite in the fall on the Mississippi River for perch and walleye. I am also in the future going to start offering some trips on lake Michigan for catching trout and salmon. The job came up and I can't turn down a dream job like this. I have worked tirelessly on obtaining a captain's license and it's time to fully use that captain's license.

A quick update for my followers:

I’m currently at a temporary standstill. Between some unexpected boat motor repairs and waiting on the Coast Guard to finalize my medical paperwork that had some complications on it and to get all the information sorted back out. I’ve had to stay on the docks a little longer than planned. Launching a business is never easy, but I’m committed to doing this the right way. Building this business has had its challenges but my passion for fishing and getting you out on the water is stronger than ever.

I appreciate your patience more than you know. Thank you for your support during this 'prep phase.' I can’t wait to welcome you all aboard soon!
