Many City of New Braunfels facilities will be closed on Friday, April 3, in observance of the Founder’s Day holiday, including:

City Hall
Municipal Court
Public Library
Parks & Recreation administrative offices
Fischer Park Nature Center
Solid Waste & Recycling administrative offices
City Recycling Center
Westside Community Center
Civic/Convention Center offices

Please Note:
There are no changes to the schedule for the Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs.

There are no changes to the schedule for Trash & Recycling. All residential and commercial collection will run on the normal schedule.

Das Rec will be open on Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, but will be closed on Sunday, April 5.

The Main Library will be closed Friday, April 3, through Sunday, April 5. The Westside Branch Campus (including the Westside Community Center) will be closed Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4.

Heads up, New Braunfels! 🚨⚠️ On Thursday, April 2, at 10 a.m., the City will partner with regional agencies to test our emergency notification system as part of a statewide testing drill. That test will also be shared on this social media account.

During the test, residents may receive a message on their cell phone, a call on their landline phone, an email, notifications on social media and websites, and hear outdoor warning sirens.

THIS IS ONLY A TEST. No action is required.
