This is the stuff that keeps me going. 12 year-old Drew was so excited to catch his first musky just minutes after losing his first musky. He was bummed but we talked about keeping the faith it worked out! Great job my new friend.

Took a day off around Father’s Day from the musky fishing grind and headed over to Lake Erie. My friend and I got our 12 walleye limit and a bonus giant perch. Good times and good eating! The perch was just shy of 15”. Back to the musky charters tomorrow

Well that’s a wrap on the PA spring fishing. Weather did not cooperate to say the least this year but we still got some great fish. Just moved into camp in NY for some Chautauqua Lake musky fishing starting tomorrow.
I had the opportunity to take a world famous taxidermist out on the water in PA. He wanted to get some close-up pics and we got them. His good friend John got his first musky on the trip and Richard got some great pics. 
Richard is coming up to Chautauqua lake in a couple weeks for a quick photo session with a couple more Muskies.
We took 15 seconds to take some great close up photos of this fish with a great camera. Details of these incredible fish that will be shared with taxidermists throughout the world someday.

Sunday Fun Day. I’ve been at this musky fishing for a long time….we used to keep them and eat them. Don’t hate…I got my limit of 2 on a Canadian vacation back in 1979. Believe me that was a big deal in those days. Was time to go get some walleye after limiting out on the lunge.🤣🤣🤣The eye socket grip was classic back then.
