Week 54 of our “Where’s George” contest! While George was in Richmond, he heard about an old Cold War bunker created here in Virginia that was repurposed for storing films and movies. He decided to go check out this bunker that now is a Library of Congress location that has been made into a beautiful state of the art cinema. He decided to go see a movie there and check it out. If you can identify the town where George is visiting today, please like and comment on this Virginia Welcome Center FB page post. We will do a drawing from ALL the correct answers (so please play even if someone else has already answered) and that person will win a “Virginia is for Lovers” prize. We will announce the winner in a separate post on Friday! Good luck, and thanks for playing!

Congratulations to Kathy Henry for guessing correctly that George found himself at Main Street Station in Richmond. He discovered that Main Street Station was not only an active train station but an art gallery and home to a Virginia Welcome Center! It is also an amazing event venue that showcases this historic landmark! Kathy, I will message you about your prize. Thanks so much for playing and please check back on Monday to see where George will go next week.

We had never heard of Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day until earlier this week a friend told us about the special day. Everyone has had a dearly loved pet that they had to tell goodbye. So today we honored with our visitors Over the Rainbow Bridge Day sharing rainbow colored fruit snacks. Many visitors shared stories of a favorite pet that they had lost while snacking on rainbow fruit snacks. We hope you take time today to think of that dear pet that you loved and know traveled across the rainbow bridge.
