Eagle Air Aviation Welcomes Additional Citation CJ2 Jet, Company Provides Jet and Helicopter Services for Organ Transplant, Eagle Air Aviation Increases Fleet Capacity by More Than 30-percent
(Harrisburg, PA, February 3, 2025) – Eagle Air Aviation (www.eagleairaviation.com) has announced that the company welcomed a third Cessna Citation CJ2 jet. The company is a successful organ transportation business, providing jet and helicopter on-demand service for transplant teams and donor organs.
According to Eagle Air Aviation Founder Tyler Sigel, “The addition of this Cessna Citation CJ2 jet increases our organ flight capacity significantly. Because of recent industry changes, our ownership group added this third Citation jet. Eagle Air Aviation is the most capable and cost-effective organ air transportation business in the Mid-Atlantic.”
The Cessna CJ2 is known for its speed, comfort, and efficiency, making it a popular choice for charter and mission-critical travel. The aircraft has a normal range of 1,600 nautical miles, a cruising speed of 460 miles per hour, can carry seven passengers, and 1,100 pounds of luggage or cargo.
Eagle Air Aviation prides itself on better than “just in time” transportation. According to Tyler Sigel, “Often our jets will pick up a team of doctors at another airport and then fly to a different city where the medical team harvests a desperately needed organ. Then, with the protected organ destined for transplant, the team is flown to another city, where the doctors operate on the waiting patient. This mission is time-critical. Fast, economical, and safe jets make it possible.” Sigel said that Eagle Air Aviation has helped save numerous lives.
