We hold beloved staffer, Michelle Brewer, in our hearts after her passing a week and a half ago. We think of her every day and so appreciate everything that she gave to the business and our family. She had a huge heart, an excellent work ethic, and always gave it her All. She loved children, especially her grandchildren, so very much. Here she is on the right, standing next to her granddaughter and Sue Lermond on the porch of Cottage #18 in 2022. Our hearts go out to her family and her husband, Mike, who continues to mow here and takes excellent care of the property. She is greatly missed. Rest peacefully, Michelle.

Availability Alert! Ocean View Cottage #11 is open from August 23-Sept 2 (10 nights total, or a 3-night minimum for a shorter stay). This cottage is in the 2nd row back from the water and sits up high so has a nice ocean view. It has a beautiful new picture window and working fireplace. Local History: Leonard Osier had built the first 2 Osier Cottages when this photo was taken in 1950. Grandpa Dan starting building cottages across the harbor right around the same time. Two old timers just doing their thing!

We missed the event, but this is a great glimpse into the Pemaquid Art Gallery, next to the lighthouse. My great-grandfather, Guy Haley Thompson, was one of the founding members of this gallery (along with Parker Gamage and Simon Blaisdell) and it's wonderful to see the gallery brimming with beautiful local art. Thank you to all the artists who keep it going strong!
