As I hung the bunting on the front porch of the Thompson House this week the words of our forefathers resonated with me: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness." (Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776). May we treat our neighbors kindly this 4th and not take Liberty for granted.

Happy Juneteenth, everyone!
Here are some new pictures of the Garage Apartment featuring the latest updates to the kitchen: new flooring and lighting! It is starting to fill in, but is still available for rent until 7/3, from 7/9-19, 7/26-8/8 and after 8/18. This is our only unit with WiFi available and is a very competitive rate. Availability Alert: For the first time in 5 years, the Garage Apartment is once more available for rent! This apartment is a steal at only $1,000/week + tax with full WiFi access, a large bedroom with 2 queen beds and plenty of closet space, a bathroom with shower (no tub) and a private backyard.
