🚨 PERRY COUNTY BUSINESSES: DISASTER RECOVERY RESOURCES AVAILABLE

If your business was affected by the recent flooding, this information is for you!

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will be hosting an information session for business owners and representatives from Perry, Muskingum and surrounding counties to learn more about disaster recovery assistance.

• SBA disaster recovery resources
• Steps to apply for assistance
• Information for businesses affected by flooding
• Guidance even if you’re unsure whether you qualify or do not have flood insurance

The Perry County Treasurer’s Office has announced that the property tax due date has been extended to Friday, August 21, 2026, due to recent storms and connectivity issues. For additional information, please contact the Perry County Treasurer’s Office or visit their website.

UPDATE: The county is currently experiencing an influx of donations from the public. In order to coordinate and track donations more efficiently, we are asking that all donations intended for the Perry County Fairground shelter, be taken to the Perry County Health Department, located at 2235 State Route 13, New Lexington, OH 43764. Donations can be accepted during business hours only, 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Jenny Larue and Ben Avery are the points of contact for the Health Department. The Health Department can be reached at 740-342-5179.
