As many of you know, I have been travelling quite a bit the last few months. I have traveled both domestically and internationally, by air, car, and cruise ship. There have been so many questions regarding the different protocols involved and if it's even worth it. For me, it definitely is. Is it inconvenient to maybe wear a mask, get the covid vaccine, fill out extra paperwork, show a negative covid test within either 24 or 72 hours, based on your vaccination status? Sure it is, but sometimes in life, there are inconveniences. Everyone has to do what they are comfortable with. For me , that is to travel. The few extra steps we need to take, while annoying , are definitely worth experiencing other cultures, meeting new people, and enjoying breathtaking scenery. Travel gives us memories to last a lifetime. This is also why it is more advantageous than ever to book through a Travel Agent. Many of us are traveling so we have first hand knowledge of how things work and what extra steps are needed. We keep up on the ever changing protocols on each destination. Many of us don't charge any fees, so you pay the same or oftentimes less than booking on your own. Would you rather have an anonymous person in a call center to rely on if things go wrong, or an agent that you can reach out to without holding for hours?
