Hey Y'all π, I am over the top excited to share this event, which my Behbeh has been working so hard on! And if it's up, then it's up, and if it's up then it's stuck!
And on the first day of Hurricane Season, to b***y!
For those of Y'all who may not know, Hurricane is God of creation to the K'ichΓ© Maya, and Tue's Day celebrates the God of the Sky, as well!
So we are then doubly blessed two-deity, I reckon! Hee hee!
Vaya con Duos, muchaches!

The theme explores the realities of who Latines are as a people of diverse histories and cultures. Artists are asked to reflect on their personal and collective experiences and how it affects their sense of identity, purpose and their creative voice. This show will paint a collective portrait of what it means to be American in a place and time that either embraces or rejects them.
The show aims to create inclusive and equitable opportunities while fostering an environment for cultural and artistic exchange and engagement among the community as well as artists and artisans of all ages. Presented by Latine Life, a budding New Orleans community platform focused on connecting and cultivating the Latine culture and community; this inaugural exhibition will be held at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Gallery and George and Joyce Wein Jazz and Heritage Center located at 1205 N. Rampart.
