Good fun and good fun in NYC….yesterday we started sad with the 9-11 memorial and then got lifted up 102 floors to the One World Trade Center Observatory and then we ate until our hearts content on a Chinatown tasting tour.

NYC baby! This is day 2 of our US Open tour. Started the Sunday off right with a gospel tour and church service in Harlem followed by lunch Restoration Hardware’s rooftop. Next it was the HighLine, Little Island and a curated tour of the Whitney Museum of American Art and then dinner at the stupendous 8282 - a Korean fusion resto.

When was the last time a place made you gasp out loud?

In a recent conversation with founder Doni Belau, she talked about the moments that stay with us forever, the ones that give you goosebumps and quietly reset something inside you. As she put it, awe-inspiring nature produces the most jaw-dropping moments, the ones you remember until your last breath.

We have felt it watching sunrise paint the Himalayas, standing beneath a thundering waterfall, and going quiet together as the sky filled with stars!

My body is here. My sleep schedule is three time zones behind.

At 3am I am wide awake and ready to sightsee. By 3pm I could nap standing up. The upside is the sunrises have been spectacular, entirely by accident.
