TRAVEL TIP:
Write your personal data on page 4 in your passport...
It is amazing the number of people who do not do this...
Have you ever noticed the identification page of your passport – the one with your picture and date of birth – doesn’t include your address?
In fact, you won’t find your address anywhere in the standard-issued passport. It makes sense considering passports are good for a number of years, ten to be exact, and you will most likely relocate within those ten years.
On page 4 of your passport there is a space for you to write your address in the U.S., and a space for the address where you will be staying outside the U.S. if traveling for an extended time.
On the bottom of the page you will find space to provide an emergency contact in the U.S. Fill in the name, address, and U.S. telephone number of a person to contact on the U.S. in the event you have an emergency on your travels.
Remember your passport is valid for 10 years, and things change ...write all information on this page in pencil so it can be changed as needed.
Live your dreams!
