Paris is always a good idea.
Especially when the Saints are playing. ⚜️

When Arnaud’s announced a Saints Season Kickoff Party, we knew exactly where we were headed. With the Saints bound for Paris this season, our Saints & Savoir Faire table story practically wrote itself.

We started with First Toast at home, where our “Draft Picks” gathered before heading downtown. From custom trading cards and Paris-meets-New Orleans details to a table designed around the trip we wish we were taking with the team, we may have taken the assignment rather seriously.

Apparently, it paid off. Saints & Savoir Faire won Best Table Decor. 🏆

Because Filling the Nest has always been about more than where we go. It’s about the people around the table, the stories we create along the way, and finding a very good reason to make an occasion out of almost anything.

Paris, the Saints are coming for you. ⚜️🥂🇫🇷

Before we turn the page on today’s Krewe des Cloches adventure, I realized I never shared the last one. And this one deserves its moment. 🔥🎄

The assignment was Christmas in July.

And somewhere along the way, PK took one look at the combination of New Orleans summer + Christmas + this particular group of women and came up with:

HOT AS BELLES.

Obviously, there was no going back. 😂

So we traded ugly Christmas sweaters for something a little more appropriate for July, turned up the heat on the holidays, and gave Christmas the Krewe des Cloches treatment.

There were cocktails. There were Belles. There was absolutely nothing remotely resembling a silent night.

And today?

We’re doing it all over again—with an entirely new story.

Most people see Virtuoso Travel Week as a conference.

I see it differently.

Earlier this week, in Swan’s Compass I wrote that Las Vegas is the city I never choose...but never skip.
