A new project from the fantastic tour guide Antonella Piredda in Tuscany. If you can't be in Italy, this is the next best thing! I hope you can participate and enjoy her videos!

"As it's still not possible to travel to Italy, I am taking my experience and the flavors of Italy to your home and the one of your clients until we can travel again.

I made a series of home-made, in every sense :-), videos on different subjects. The videos are available for a year on Vimeo protected by a password.

I already involved my direct clients asking them to make a donation and it has been so successful that I decided to involve other tour guides so now we have a webpage with our video offerings and a trailer explaining the project.

In addition, we will be donating 50% of the proceeds to people that are in need (children, families, small business owners)."

UPDATE FROM NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINES:

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact communities around the globe, and given the travel and port restrictions in various parts of the world, we have further suspended voyages as follows:

All voyages with embarkation dates from August 1 through August 31, 2020
All voyages with embarkation dates from September 1 through September 30, 2020; except for Seattle-based Alaska sailings on Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Joy which continue to be scheduled to operate
​​​​​​Note: We are hopeful that through the support of the Alaska delegation and openness of mayors in Alaska port towns, we have the potential to resume voyages in September. For this reason, we have excluded the September voyages aboard Bliss and Joy.
All voyages in October 2020 to Canada/New England and cruises embarking in Vancouver, including:

It is so important to work with a reliable travel agent and reputable tour operator, and to purchase a good travel insurance policy for your vacation!

Our honeymoon clients have been stuck in Franz Josef, New Zealand after major storms have roads closed in all directions. Thankfully our 24 hour support team at Travel2: South Pacific Experiences have been incredibly helpful during this difficult time. Roads are closed until at least Friday, but the couple are meant to fly to Fiji tomorrow! They were able to abandon their rental car and take a helicopter flight to a small town where they have been re-booked on an alternate flight to make their connection to Fiji! This has been a very expensive situation, but we can relax knowing most or all of these expenses will be reimbursed by their travel insurance provider Travelex Insurance.
