I first fell in love with giving tours in 2001, in Rome. It’s amazing to be here, back home in New Orleans, sharing that same love 25 years later. It is such a privilege to share these special moments with people on their vacations. It is such an honor when they choose us to spend their money and time with. Thank you to everyone who’s been on a tour with us, and here’s to 25 more years! 🥂

Yesterday’s tour felt less like a history lesson and more like a rolling lunch party with footnotes. 🥖✨

We had an absolutely stellar crew of fun-loving, flavor-chasing legends who came ready to eat, laugh, and time-travel through every bite. From the first story to the last crumb, this group showed up hungry for the why behind the food, not just the what.

We talked origins. We debated spice levels like philosophers. We toasted to the cooks and characters who built this city’s culinary backbone. Somewhere between the second stop and “just one more bite,” strangers turned into a table full of friends.

Food history hits different when you experience it together. It’s not just recipes. It’s migration, celebration, survival, and a little bit of joyful indulgence wrapped in parchment paper.

To yesterday’s crew: y’all brought the energy, the curiosity, and the elastic waistbands. Thank you, ladies and gents! 🍽️🔥
