This November, join us for a remarkable journey through the cities and landscapes that shaped the story of Jewish Spain.

On A Multi-City Tour of Jewish Spain: From the Ancient to the Modern, travelers will explore Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, Ávila, Granada, Córdoba, and Seville — discovering medieval Jewish quarters, historic synagogues, extraordinary architecture, and the enduring legacy of Sephardic culture.

From Toledo, often called “Spain’s Jerusalem,” to the heart of Andalusia, this journey traces centuries of Jewish life, scholarship, art, and history. Along the way, enjoy the Alhambra, a flamenco performance in Seville, and a chance to engage with Jewish community leaders in Madrid.

Our travelers have returned from a meaningful journey through Denmark and Sweden, exploring the history, resilience, and vibrant culture of Scandinavian Jewish communities.

From Copenhagen to Lund, Malmö, and Stockholm, the group engaged with Jewish heritage, community life, and remembrance — including visits to the Danish Jewish Museum and the Swedish Holocaust Museum.

With accompanying scholar Therkel Stræde, travelers gained deeper insight into the October 1943 rescue of Denmark’s Jews and the stories that continue to shape the region today.

WELCOME BACK!

Our travelers have returned from a wonderful week in Montreal, immersed in the city’s vibrant Jewish life, rich Yiddish culture, and enduring creative spirit.

With scholar Sebastian Schulman of the Yiddish Book Center, the group explored the many layers of Montreal’s Jewish story — from Old Montreal’s historic streets to the Jewish roots of Mile End on the acclaimed “Beyond the Bagel” food tour. Along the way, they experienced klezmer music, Yiddish dance, and song; engaged with community leaders, artists, and archivists; and enjoyed meaningful visits to institutions including the Jewish Public Library, Congregation Shaar Hashomayim, and the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue.

From food and music to literature, history, and conversation, this was a week of connection, discovery, and cultural celebration.

Thank you to our travelers, Sebastian Schulman, and the many community members who helped make this journey so memorable. Welcome home!

Today our travelers depart for Denmark and Sweden, beginning a meaningful journey into the stories of resistance, rescue, and revival that have shaped Scandinavian Jewish life.

On Resistance and Revival: Denmark & Sweden, our group explores Jewish communities in Sweden — home to about 20,000 Jews today — and Denmark, the only nation in Western Europe that saved most of its Jewish population from the N***s. They’ll visit Copenhagen, Lund, Malmö, and Stockholm, including the Danish Jewish Museum, Judaica at the Royal Library, the Malmö Jewish Community, Lund’s Yiddish program, Stockholm’s historic Jewish neighborhood, and the new Swedish Holocaust Museum.

Our accompanying scholar, Therkel Stræde — a leading expert on the October 1943 rescue of the Jews from Denmark — will travel with the group, offering lectures and insights throughout.
