How might we spend a day in the Loire Valley?
Here's a sample "perfect day":

📍Start your day by hopping on your bike and riding to the Chateau du Clos Luce, where Leonardo da Vinci spent his later years. Don't miss having a midmorning snack at their onsite creperie overlooking the gardens.
📍Back on your bike again, take a scenic ride to Chateau Chenonceau. Explore their stunning gardens and enjoy lunch at the Orangerie before taking a guided tour of the castle.
📍Next, head to our secret spot where you'll embark on a hot air balloon ride at dusk, soaring over the chateaux in the valley.
📍Once back on land, have a glass of champagne while the sun sets.

📍start the day in Reine, at a local coffee shop, to fuel up before the day starts!
📍Head to the for a beginner surf lesson. The club provides wet suits & surfboards. The beach has no rocks or dangerous currents, making it a fantastic spot to learn.
📍Warm up post-lesson at a picturesque beach side sauna. We have a secret spot (shhh!)

📍Hike the famed Reinebringen trail, comprised of nearly 2000 Sherpa steps, offers absolutely unreal Lofoten views.

What an amazing weekend we had with our friends and , and all of the wonderful participants of our cycling weekend on the coast of Maine. The riding, the setting, the food and wine, and of course the company, were all exceptional. Can't wait to do it again!

The Istrian Peninsula is filled with excellent wine and excellent truffles! Truffle hunting in the hills, followed by a delicious meal prepared with the truffles we just hunted, is the perfect way to spend a post-ride afternoon!
