Small Town Saturday Invites Visitors to Experience the Charm of New Wilmington

New Wilmington, PA – This summer, discover the unique appeal of New Wilmington during Small Town Saturday— a three-part event series that invites visitors and locals alike to come for
the farmers’ market, stay for concert, and experience the charm of a small college town in the heart of Amish country.
Held on the third Saturday of June, July, and August, Small Town Saturday offers a full day of community fun, local flavor, and small-town hospitality. The event highlights everything that
makes New Wilmington a perfect day-trip destination — from shopping and local eats to engaging activities and evening concerts.
Event Dates & Headline Acts:
 Saturday, June 21 – Liverpool Lads (Beatles tribute)
 Saturday, July 19 – Grant Street Exit (classic rock cover)
 Saturday, August 16 – Juvenile Characteristics (rock/bluegrass fusion)
Schedule of Events:
 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Visit the Fresh Market featuring local vendors, kids’ activities, live
music, and breakfast/lunch grille
 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Shop at our vibrant local stores
 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at one of New Wilmington’s diverse dining spots
 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Participate in Titan Learning Labs — family-friendly, open-house
style hands-on activities at Westminster College
 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Dine at local restaurants
 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Attend the free Concert in the Park

It’s finally open! Greenville Savings Bank on Market Street opened its doors today, after a long wait and extensive remodeling. The Neshannock branch will close tomorrow and has been relocated to New Wilmington to potentially serve a greater area. The community is invited to the grand opening celebration on March 27 with an 11 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony, light refreshments, and special CD rates at all three locations.
