Day 3...

We started our day grabbing some coffee and poffertjes (tiny pancakes you can find all over). We then headed to the De Pijp neighborhood of Amsterdam where we tried a fun cheese bar, visited the Albert Cuyp Market to try Rudy's Stroopwaffle (which are said to be the best) then headed to the Van Gogh Museum.

We went back to the hotel to pack before walking around and stumbled upon a restaurant filled with locals and was really good. We then walked around Damstraat. We ended the night with some bar hopping.

Day 4...

We woke up early and got to the airport for our flight home. I just got home and had an amazing time!

Day 2 we started our day with an excursion to the countryside to see the windmills, visit beautiful towns, try some cheese and see how clogs were made. After the excursion we visited the De Wallen neighborhood and enjoyed some shopping and drinks before heading to dinner at a great Italian restaurant close to our hotel. We had a fun day and night!

03/06/2026

Day 1....

We were lucky to get our own rows on the flight from Newark to Amsterdam so we were all able to lay out and get some sleep on the way there.

We made it to our hotel, Hotel NH Collection Amsterdam Flower Market, early and with paying a fee were able to get a room immediately which was nice to be able to unpack and know that was done before starting our day.

We stopped and got some coffee, breakfast and groceries then we starting to really walk the city. We visited the flower market, the Jordaan neighborhood and then got to the Anne Frank Museum. These tickets sell out everyday. We booked them 2 months in advance and were lucky to get them. It was sad but a wonderful experience to have.

We grabbed a snack, some traditional bitterballen and then got an a 1 hour canal cruise. After the cruise we grabbed dinner and then headed back to the hotel. It was an early night, but needed since we were on minimal sleep.

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!

2025 was filled with planning vacations to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Universal Orlando, Hawaii, Caribbean Islands, cruises around the world and European vacations! My favorite personal experiences this year were my trips to Paris, Vero Beach and Antigua.

Now I can't wait for 2026! My first trip of the year will be a girls trip to Amsterdam in March! And of course I have more up my sleeve so will be excited to share it all with you this upcoming year.

Thank you all for letting me help with your 2025 vacations and I am looking forward to helping people build more memories in 2026! Let me know where you're wanting to travel in the new year!

12/22/2025

Day 5...

We slept in, packed, showered and headed to the beach for a little before going to the Red Lane Spa for a couples massage.

After the spa we were able to shower there so we were ready to fly home.

We grabbed some lunch at Bayside buffet with my sister and brother in law and the said out goodbyes before heading to the lobby to check out and grab the shuttle to the airport.

The security/customs lines at Antigua were long today. It took us almost an hour to get through but since the resort has you leave 3 hrs before your scheduled departure we still had time to spare.

We got in early, which was great, so now we make our way home. Can't wait to see our kids but had a great time with my sister and brother in law.

12/21/2025

Day 4...

We started our morning at Bayside's breakfast buffet before getting on a shuttle to our UTV excursion. Will I recommend this one? Probably not. It wasn't very exciting in terms of site. We only made 1 spot at a beautiful beach while riding around and really just saw a lot of cows. We had fun but there are definitely better experiences. My sister and brother in law did the zip lining excursion and that was definitely a better experience.

We were full of dirt when we got back so showered before heading the the pool where spent the rest of the afternoon.

We stopped at the Drunken Duck on the way back to the room to cheer on Ole Miss.

For dinner we went to Kimonos which was delicious then ended the night at the piano bar!

12/20/2025

Day 3...

We started our day with a power snorkeling experience and it was amazing! We saw an octopus, sea turtles and a bunch of beautiful fish.

We headed to the pool when we got back for some lunch, reading, naps and pool drinks.

We then went back to get ready for dinner. We couldn't get into Eleanor's for our whole trip as all reservations were taken but this is what we really wanted to celebrate our anniversary dinner. We were very grateful when they offered to feed us from the menu at Eleanor's if we ate over at Bayside, and we easily said yes! The lamb was incredible! So happy we got to eat the food here!

We then headed to the Drunken Duck to watch the Alabama Football Game. It was fun to be watching with other college football fans and them winning made this day perfect. And went to bed shortly after it ended.

12/19/2025

Day 2...

My husband played golf in the morning and I got a crepe and an iced latte at Cafe de Paris before heading the pool. We played some of the poolside games, my husband won Bingo but our team failed at Family Feud.

We grabbed lunch a hot dog and food at Barefoot by the Sea for lunch that we are poolside and spend the whole afternoon relaxing and having fun there.

My sister and brother in law arrived early evening so we met up to see them before going back to the room to get ready for dinner. We had sushi at Soy and it was delicious.

Then we spent the rest of the night having fun at Karaoke before heading to bed.

12/18/2025

Day 1...

We had a direct flight from JFK in the morning and landed in Antigua around 2:30p, surprisingly with no major delays. We got in about 15 minutes later than expected but with our travel history with delays that was a win for us!

We had a fairly quick experience getting through customs here then headed outside the airport to the Sandals desk to get our shuttle to the resort. It is a 17 minute drive from the airport to the resort.

On arrival we were greeted with a cool towel and taken to the Club Sandals lounge for a welcome drink and to get our room keys. We were brought to our room, which is a Mediterranean Walkout Club Level Suite.

We unpacked then went to grab a pizza to share to hold us over to dinner. We walked around while the pizza was made to, make sure we could remembered where everything was, then ate our pizza before heading to the beach to watch the sunset.

We went back to the room to get ready for dinner. For dinner we went to Bayside which is their French restaurant. We enjoyed the food here. I had escargot, filet and lobster and crème brûlée

After dinner we watched a live band before heading to the piano bar for the sing along. It was so much fun! Then we ended the night with some dancing at the Drunken Duck before heading to bed.

It was a great start to the trip!

I will be away December 17-21 to celebrate my Anniversary at Sandals Grande Antigua! I'm so excited to revisit the first Sandals resort I've ever stayed at, before I was even a Travel Agent, and to show all I love about Sandals with my sister and brother in law who are joining my husband and I on this trip!
