If you’re craving classic theme park food in Magic Kingdom, this is the spot. When that irresistible smell of burgers and fries hits you in Tomorrowland, it’s almost guaranteed you’re being pulled straight toward Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café — one of my all-time favorites.

The menu truly has something for everyone, and the restaurant itself is huge, which is a big win on a busy park day. There’s tons of seating both inside and outside, so finding a place to sit is usually a breeze. And honestly? I’ve eaten my way through just about the entire menu here and have never been disappointed. That’s saying something. 😉

But let’s talk about the real star of the show… Sonny Eclipse. This animatronic alien lounge singer absolutely steals the spotlight, crooning fun, familiar tunes while you eat. It’s quirky, classic Disney, and such a fun surprise if you’ve never experienced it before. Open for lunch and dinner, it’s always a hit with families.

Okay friends… there’s really no avoiding park tech anymore. It’s here, it’s helpful, and honestly? It can make your day so much smoother. We already have our phones glued to our hands (or tucked in our cute Loungeflys), so let’s make them work for us! Just make sure your My Disney Experience app is fully updated before your trip, because you’re going to lean on it a LOT.

And if you’re looking for something to keep little ones entertained in line—or, let’s be honest, to keep yourself entertained—the Play Disney Parks app is such a hidden gem. Trivia, in-queue games, music… it’s adorable. And don’t even get me started on the Datapad in Galaxy’s Edge or the fun touches in the Peter Pan queue (check my stories for that magic!).

If you want that sprinkle of Disney fun even when you aren’t in the parks, try these:

✨ Put your Disney+ subscription to work on vacation—nothing soothes a tired toddler like popping on a favorite movie.
✨ Disney Emoji Blitz… think Candy Crush but way cuter and dangerously addictive.

There’s just something extra magical (and hilarious) about the Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast… and no, it’s not just because the food is amazing (but it totally is).

The Grinch isn’t only for the kids — he’s for all of us who grew up watching the cartoon, quoting the Jim Carrey movie on repeat, or pulling out the book every single December. This experience hits that cozy, nostalgic sweet spot in the very best way!

And can we talk about the DETAILS?! The makeup and costumes are straight-up movie quality. The Whos look exactly like you’d imagine them and the Grinch is absolutely LEGIT — perfectly snarky, surprisingly sweet, and totally unforgettable.

Whether you’re 5 or 55, this is one of those holiday memories that sticks with the whole crew. 🎄
P.S. Some families wear their Christmas jammies to breakfast… and honestly? I fully support it. Would you?!

Okaaay, same ride… but a WAY better queue this time! 🛤️✨
Normally, Walt Disney World wins when it comes to ride queues just because there’s so much more room for storytelling and details. BUT not here. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland is absolutely next level. Like… don’t even use Lightning Lane next level. You’re going to want to go standby just to soak in every bit of that queue magic!

Bibbidi bobbidi boo, have you seen the brand-new Royal Room makeover at Port Orleans Riverside?! These rooms got the glow up of the year! ✨

The updated Royal Rooms in Oak Manor feel so fresh and open now — lighter colors, gorgeous wood floors instead of carpet, and the sweetest little details that make you feel like Tiana sprinkled a little extra magic herself. The older rooms definitely had that darker, cozier vibe, but these new ones? They feel bright, airy, and absolutely dreamy.

Ohhh if It’s Tough to Be a Bug left a few emotional scars in your household (same girl, SAME), I’ve got some very happy news! Change at Disney can be hard—trust me, I’m sentimental to my core—but sometimes that new magic is so worth it.

Last month, the brand-new Zootopia: Better Zoogether debuted inside the Tree of Life Theater at Animal Kingdom, and it is such a fun upgrade. This 4D show brings music, wind, scents, and motion to life… but without the creepy crawly buzzing-in-your-seat surprises that traumatized half of us in the last version.

You’ll see our pals Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde leading the adventure, but let’s be honest—Officer Clawhauser steals the whole show. And those bug eyes? Officially retired! Guests now slip on adorable “carrot vision” glasses instead.

If you’ve got nervous little ones who swore off that theater forever, here’s what you can reassure them with:
