We are having the most amazing time at The Lake House on Canandaigua. Fabulous weekend getaway for couples, women only, weddings or families. You can try out the unique sauna treatment. I love the design of the saunas. Activities-spa, ice skating, yoga, meditation, s’mores by the fire pit, afternoon tea, shuffleboard, swimming and hot tub(guests were in it every time I walked by). They have wonderful restaurants and cozy bar areas. You can do an outing exploring the local breweries, distilleries, wineries or go hiking. We did Seneca Falls to meet Zuzu and Tommy Bailey from It’s a Wonderful Life. The whole area and drive up was stunning. Dm me to book your weekend away and get special amenities!! .glove.getaways

I truly believe travel makes your life richer in so many ways. The number one for me is it gives you perspective on so many things, especially when traveling to a third world country. I was on a tour in Bangkok and we stopped at a very small local restaurant on the river. I noticed an elderly lady who lived there trying to read. I pulled out my readers and gave them to her. She was overwhelmed that she could see. She is 90! She hobbled out and couldn’t stop thanking us. You can change someone’s life for the better so easily.
I had actually traveled with a few packs of readers to hand out along the way in the countryside. I just didn’t think in Bangkok they would need them but they do.
I gave another to local artisan, who hand paints and the last photo we gave a pair to our bus driver. They are so appreciative!!
Next time you travel, think of doing something that can help others.
You realize how good we have it living in USA!!
